Farmers Marching to Delhi from Noida May Cause Traffic: Use Metro to Avoid Jams

Farmers from BKU Tikait and BKU Lokshakti have started a tractor march from Noida's Yamuna Expressway towards Delhi, demanding laws for a fair minimum price for their produce. This may cause heavy traffic jams in the area. To manage this, the Noida police have issued guidelines. They've said that the Delhi and Gautam Buddha Nagar Police will set up barriers along the borders from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi. This could lead to increased traffic on roads from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi and on the Yamuna Expressway, especially around the Luharli Toll Plaza. In case of emergencies, traffic will be redirected as needed. To avoid getting stuck in traffic, people traveling to Delhi are advised to use the metro as much as possible. Also, certain types of goods vehicles won't be allowed on specific routes, like from the Yamuna Expressway to Delhi via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and from Sirsa to Surajpur via Parichowk. For those driving, there are alternative routes suggested by the police: - Vehicles heading from Chilla Border to Delhi can take the Sector 14A flyover via Golchakkar Chowk Sector 15, Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, Jhundpura Chowk. - Vehicles traveling from DND border to Delhi can use the elevated via Filmcity flyover, Sector 18. - Vehicles moving from Kalindi border to Delhi can take the Mahamaya flyover via Sector 37. - Traffic going to Delhi via Yamuna Expressway can exit at Jewar Toll towards Khurja and reach the destination via Jahangirpur. - Traffic heading to Delhi via Sirsa, Parichowk can use Dadri, Dasna instead of Sirsa exit. Emergency vehicles will be given priority during diversions. If you face any traffic-related issues, you can contact the traffic helpline at 9971009001. It's advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. #nationalgossip
