Breaking: Bengaluru Blast Suspect Identified in CCTV Footage

Bengaluru, Karnataka: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has offered a cash reward of ₹10 lakh for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved in the March 1 Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru. CCTV footage has provided crucial details about the suspect’s movements on the day of the explosion.

According to reports, the suspect was captured on CCTV entering the cafe at 11:34 am and exiting at 11:43 am. He then proceeded to walk to a bus stop over a kilometer away. The footage suggests that he arrived at the cafe by public bus around 10:45 am.

Sources reveal that the suspect utilized multiple public buses for transporting the explosive device and escaping the scene afterward. During his getaway, he made several stops, including at a Muslim religious center. A discarded baseball cap believed to be worn by the suspect was found at one of these stopover locations.

The improvised explosive device (IED) was strategically placed in a corner of the cafe, containing nuts and bolts as shrapnel. Its impact was somewhat mitigated by the presence of a nearby wall and tree.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has mentioned various angles being explored by the police, including business rivalry, impending elections, and concerns regarding investor safety in Bengaluru. Despite procuring numerous CCTV footages, authorities are continuing their efforts to identify and apprehend the suspect.
