Internet star Orry is suing a content creator who criticized him in a video after he didn’t shake her hand at an event. Ruchika Lohiya, the creator, uploaded a viral video on Instagram, claiming Orry ignored her handshake, causing embarrassment in front of many people.
Ruchika’s video on Instagram has gained almost 4 million views since it was posted two days ago. In the video, she talks about attending a fancy event where she met several celebrities, including Orry, whom she referred to as a ‘popular figure on the internet.’

Ruchika asserts that she approached Orry and conveyed her admiration for his work, to which he graciously replied. However, Orry’s manager intervened and instructed Ms. Lohiya not to take photographs, a request she followed. Upon departing, Ms. Lohiya claims that she extended her hand for a handshake. Instead of shaking hands with her, Orry reluctantly offered her a fist bump. “He couldn’t even touch my hand,” Ruchika stated in her video.
In the comments section, Orry clarified by stating that he refused to shake hands with her because of concerns about the potential germs and contaminants on her hand. “I don’t know what germs and s**t your hand carries,” he wrote. He further stated, “I am always happy to meet fans and friends when the time permits. However, shoving your way to me at a public event, passing my security, and disrespecting my manager, you yet got close to me and politely greeted you. Don’t expect strangers to touch you.” Orry continued, mentioning that she received a friendly fist bump, which he deemed sufficient.
Additionally, he issued a threat of legal action against Ruchika for defaming him. “I will be filing a defamation case immediately. Legal has already been notified. CCTV will also be pulled,” he declared.
