Tejashwi, Owaisi Express Concern Over Mukhtar Ansari Death Amid Poisoning Allegations

In a recent turn of events, Tejashwi Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Party (RJD) and All India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi have raised concerns over the demise of gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari. Ansari, who was lodged in jail, passed away due to cardiac arrest at a hospital in Banda, Uttar Pradesh.

Tejashwi Yadav expressed his distress over the circumstances leading to Ansari death, particularly highlighting his earlier claims of being poisoned while in custody. Yadav emphasized the need for constitutional institutions to take proactive measures in investigating such incidents, urging them to consider the gravity of Ansari allegations.

Echoing similar sentiments, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi extended condolences to Ansari’s family while emphasizing the seriousness of the poisoning allegations. Owaisi criticized the lack of attention given to Ansari’s health complaints despite the serious nature of his claims.

Former Bihar MP Pappu Yadav, who recently joined the Congress, went as far as to label Ansari death as an “institutional murder,” demanding a court-monitored probe into the matter. Yadav called for the Chief Justice of India to intervene and ensure an impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ansari demise.

The incident has sparked controversy and calls for further investigation, with prohibitory orders imposed across the state and heightened security measures in place. Ansari death has reignited discussions about the treatment of prisoners and the need for transparency in such cases.

The passing of Mukhtar Ansari has not only raised questions about his alleged poisoning but has also drawn attention to the broader issue of prisoner welfare and accountability within the criminal justice system.

As investigations unfold, stakeholders and the public alike await answers regarding the circumstances surrounding Ansari death and the veracity of his earlier claims of being poisoned while in custody.
