Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, during a public meeting in Proddaturu, accused multiple opposition parties, including the TDP, Janasena, BJP, and Congress, of forming a collective front against him. Reddy, addressing supporters as part of his “Memanta Siddham” election campaign, asserted that these parties, along with select media outlets and even members of his own family, are uniting against him.
Claiming that his opponents are joining forces due to fear, Reddy highlighted that they have resorted to conspiracies and false campaigns to tarnish his image. He particularly emphasized the allegations surrounding the unresolved murder of his uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy, and recent drug seizures, linking them to the opposition.
Launching a scathing attack on the NDA coalition of TDP, BJP, and Janasena, Reddy labeled it as an alliance of conspiracies and urged the people to support his party, YSRCP, to secure a clean sweep in the upcoming elections.
Reddy’s “Memanta Siddham” tour, aimed at connecting with voters across Andhra Pradesh, commenced with a 21-day bus journey covering various districts and constituencies. The campaign, which began from Idupulupaya in Kadapa district, will span 21 districts and 148 assembly constituencies, concluding at Icchapuram in Srikakulam district.
During the tour, Reddy will engage in direct interactions with the public, addressing concerns and showcasing the achievements of his government. The first phase of the campaign will focus on the Rayalaseema region, covering six districts.
With elections scheduled for May 13, Reddy campaign aims to consolidate support for YSRCP and convey the message of readiness in every parliamentary constituency and district. The ruling party intends to organize daily election meetings throughout the tour to emphasize its preparedness for the electoral battle.
As Reddy embarks on his campaign journey, he seeks to reinforce his position as a formidable leader in Andhra Pradesh politics, confronting the challenges posed by a unified opposition front and rallying support from the masses.
