In an official statement, T-Series debunked ongoing speculations and reaffirmed their commitment to working jointly with Vishesh Films/Mukesh Bhatt. They also clarified that the film they are working on, directed by Anurag Basu, has no connection to the ‘Aashiqui’ franchise.
This clarification comes after previous announcements from T-Series about ‘Aashiqui 3,’ with Kartik Aaryan rumored for the lead role and Anurag Basu slated to direct. However, T-Series’ recent statement has put an end to these rumors, stating that they currently have no plans to independently revive the franchise.
The statement from T-Series read, “We want to make it clear that we are not currently involved in the development or production of Aashiqui 3. If and when Aashiqui 3 is pursued, it will be done in collaboration with Vishesh Films/Mukesh Bhatt.
