Nitin Gadkari Takes Legal Action Against Congress Leaders Over ‘Misleading’ Content

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has initiated legal action against Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and General Secretary Jairam Ramesh for allegedly spreading misleading and defamatory information about him on the party's official X platform. The legal notices were issued in response to a 19-second video clip of an interview Gadkari gave to "The Lallantop" news web portal, where Congress allegedly used a selective Hindi caption to misrepresent Gadkari's words. Gadkari's lawyer, Balendu Shekhar, stated that the Congress intentionally shared the video clip out of context to create confusion and damage Gadkari reputation. The legal notice demanded the removal of the posts within 24 hours and a written apology within three days. Failure to comply would result in Gadkari pursuing civil and criminal actions against the Congress leaders. The notice emphasized that the interview was distorted and presented without its full contextual meaning, aiming to sensationalize and tarnish Gadkari image, especially ahead of the upcoming general election under Prime Minister Narendra Modi leadership.#politicalgossip
