According to responses obtained through the Right to Information (RTI) Act, it has been revealed that in the lead-up to the 2024 general elections, the Central government is allocating approximately ₹15 crore across five states to procure bags bearing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's logo. These bags, weighing 10 kilograms each, are intended for use in distributing food grains under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY). Activist Ajay Bose acquired RTI responses indicating that the regional offices of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) in Rajasthan, Sikkim, Mizoram, Tripura, and Meghalaya have already finalized tenders for the acquisition of "woven laminated bags with an indicative logo of PM Modi" for the distribution of food grains. #globalgossip
