Elon Musk’s Lawsuit Twist: OpenAI Faces Name Change Ultimatum to ‘Closed AI’

Elon Musk Demands OpenAI to Rebrand as ‘ClosedAI’ Amid Legal Battle

Renowned billionaire Elon Musk has recently filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, the entity responsible for ChatGPT. Musk, a co-founder of the ChatGPT-making company in 2015, alleges a breach of contractual agreements. He claims that OpenAI has deviated from its original mission, prioritizing profits over the betterment of humanity.

In the ongoing legal feud between Elon Musk and OpenAI, Musk has thrown an unexpected proposal into the ring. The Tesla and SpaceX Chief, who co-founded OpenAI in 2015, is now urging the company to change its name to ‘ClosedAI.’ The lawsuit, which alleges breaches of contractual agreements, could be dropped if OpenAI agrees to the unconventional name change. Musk’s straightforward message is clear: ‘Change your name to ClosedAI, and I will drop the lawsuit. OpenAI needs to stop living a lie.'”

According to blog posts and emails, Elon Musk proposed linking the AI company to Tesla for financial support. However, when OpenAI declined the idea, Musk decided to leave the organization, stating that he believed their chances of success were minimal. He then expressed his intention to develop a competitor in artificial general intelligence (AGI) within Tesla.
