Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy reaffirmed the YSRCP government’s commitment to strengthening weaker sections and farmers through comprehensive welfare programmes. Speaking during the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam initiative in Ayyavari Palle village of Vempalle mandal, he described the YSRCP rule as a “golden era” for marginalized communities that have long relied on agriculture and public welfare support.
Avinash Reddy underlined that, unlike previous administrations that treated vulnerable groups as a vote bank, the current government prioritized structural welfare and financial empowerment. His visit focused on assessing delivery of schemes and interacting directly with households to understand their needs.
Focus on Weaker Sections: YSRCP’s Targeted Interventions
During the visit, the MP emphasized that weaker sections received unprecedented support under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Programmes aimed at housing, pensions, education, health benefits, and livelihood support have significantly improved quality of life in rural communities.
He reiterated that earlier governments introduced symbolic initiatives without ensuring long-term development. In contrast, YSRCP allocated record-level funds to implement welfare measures designed to uplift the socio-economic status of marginalized families. The MP noted that these investments have brought stability and dignity to households that previously struggled with basic needs.
Empowering Farmers Through Direct Benefit Schemes and Infrastructure
Avinash Reddy stressed that farmers remain central to YSRCP’s governance philosophy. He recalled that during the previous regime, farmers were left without proper support, forcing them to depend on informal credit systems and irregular aid.
However, since 2019, the state government has introduced several major schemes offering direct benefit transfers, crop support, insurance, and minimum support price reinforcement. These initiatives have helped reduce agricultural risk and enabled farmers to focus on productivity rather than financial uncertainty.
He also mentioned that infrastructural works—such as irrigation, village water projects, and rural connectivity—have contributed to long-term agricultural sustainability.
Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam: Accountability at the Doorstep
As part of the Gadapa Gadapaku programme, YS Avinash Reddy interacted with every household in Ayyavari Palle to verify whether government benefits were being delivered on time and without discrepancies.
This field-level interaction allowed villagers to express concerns and provide feedback directly to the MP. Such direct engagement not only strengthens governance transparency but also helps address gaps in delivery systems. The programme serves as a model for accountable administration and citizen-responsive leadership.
Inauguration of Water Plant: Strengthening Rural Infrastructure
During the visit, Avinash Reddy also inaugurated a water plant in the village, marking another step in improving rural infrastructure. The facility aims to provide clean and accessible drinking water, addressing a longstanding demand of local residents.
He emphasized that development must combine welfare with strong infrastructure, enabling villages to grow sustainably. The water plant reflects the government’s goal of improving essential services across remote regions.
Translating Welfare Vision Into Ground Action
YS Avinash Reddy’s visit to Ayyavari Palle encapsulated the YSRCP’s dedication to inclusive development and transparent governance. By closely monitoring welfare delivery, interacting directly with citizens, and inaugurating essential infrastructure, he showcased a leadership approach rooted in accountability and public welfare.
The MP reiterated that the YSRCP government remains committed to elevating the lives of weaker sections and farmers through continuous investment, reform, and on-ground engagement.
