The Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation (A.P.-MSMEDC) is organising the Global MSME Export Development Convention 2025 in Visakhapatnam on November 9 and 10. The event is being conducted under the Central Government’s Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, supported by the World Bank. As part of the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet initiative, the convention aims to create direct access for Andhra Pradesh’s micro, small, and medium enterprises to international markets.
This convention comes at a time when MSMEs across the country are expanding into new product lines, manufacturing capabilities, and service sectors. Andhra Pradesh, known for strong industrial clusters and a skilled workforce, is positioning itself as a competitive exporter across several industries. The introduction of a global trade platform is expected to help MSMEs move beyond domestic boundaries and build sustainable export channels.
Global Buyers to Explore Products from Andhra Pradesh
According to official information, 34 international buyers from 16 countries will participate in the two-day event. Delegates will represent markets such as Russia, the United Kingdom, Austria, Japan, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Bahrain, Nepal, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Togo, Kenya, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe.
With a diverse mix of developed and emerging markets, the convention is expected to offer MSMEs access to new buyer networks, particularly in sectors where Andhra Pradesh has strong production capabilities. International participants will explore sourcing opportunities in several categories, including:
- Automobile components
- Food and beverages
- Electronics and electrical products
- Pharmaceuticals and medical devices
- Textiles and apparel
- Agro and industrial machinery

Udyam-registered MSMEs from across Andhra Pradesh have been shortlisted through a transparent process to ensure equal representation of different sectors and districts.

The World Bank–supported RAMP Scheme focuses on raising productivity, improving market access, and strengthening institutional support for small businesses. Andhra Pradesh’s participation is expected to accelerate capacity building, technology adoption, and export competitiveness.
