The India Meteorological Department (IMD) confirmed that the system is moving north-northwestward toward southern Chhattisgarh while losing strength, bringing moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of northern Andhra Pradesh.

Several districts across coastal Andhra Pradesh experienced continuous rain, leading to localized flooding, power outages, and traffic disruptions. Rural areas near river basins and low-lying regions witnessed temporary waterlogging, prompting authorities to initiate immediate drainage measures.
