MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy Inspects Industrial Projects, Highlights Employment Opportunities in Kadapa

Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy has said that the district is witnessing a new wave of industrialisation, creating vast employment opportunities for local youth. As part of his district visit, the MP inspected several ongoing industrial projects at the Kopparthy Industrial Estate, spread over 540 acres, which is being developed as a Model Industrial Park under the leadership of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Industrial Transformation Underway

During the inspection, Avinash Reddy visited the YSR Electronic Manufacturing Cluster and the Dixon Company’s CC Camera Manufacturing Unit, inaugurated recently by the Chief Minister. He interacted with company representatives and employees to understand the infrastructure, working conditions, and employment generation status.

He assured that any concerns or challenges faced by the workforce will be addressed promptly, and directed officials to maintain regular coordination between industries and government departments to ensure smooth operations.

Promoting Local Employment and Reducing Migration

The MP emphasised that the government’s industrial policy is designed to generate employment within the district, reducing the need for youth migration to other states for livelihood. He praised the Dixon Company for providing jobs to local candidates and contributing to the economic progress of Kadapa.

“Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has been encouraging industrialisation across Andhra Pradesh to strengthen the economy and empower youth. The Kopparthy Industrial Estate will serve as a model of inclusive development and employment-driven growth,” Avinash Reddy said.

Kopparthy Industrial Estate – A Model for Andhra Pradesh

The Kopparthy Industrial Estate, located near Kadapa city, is being developed with state-of-the-art infrastructure, logistics support, and a focus on sustainable manufacturing practices. The estate includes multiple sectors like electronics, engineering, food processing, and logistics, aligning with the government’s decentralised development model.

District Collector V. Vijaya Rama Raju, RDO Dharma Chandra Reddy, and APIIC Zonal Manager Srinivasa Murthy accompanied the MP during the inspection. Officials provided updates on project timelines and discussed upcoming investments that are expected to further strengthen Kadapa’s industrial profile.

A Vision for Future Employment

Avinash Reddy noted that these projects are part of the broader 175 Industrial Parks Mission, ensuring that every assembly constituency benefits from industrial development. “Our aim is to make Kadapa a hub for innovation, manufacturing, and skilled employment. These initiatives reflect the commitment of the state government to create opportunities at every level,” he added.

The MP reaffirmed his support for local entrepreneurs, startups, and investors seeking to establish ventures in the region, ensuring that government clearances and facilitation processes are smooth and transparent.

Commitment to Balanced Growth

As Andhra Pradesh pushes towards decentralised industrialisation, Kadapa’s progress under Avinash Reddy’s leadership stands as a strong example of balanced regional development. With expanding employment avenues, improved infrastructure, and focused government policies, the district is well-positioned to emerge as a key industrial centre in South India.
