June 22, 2024 – Switzerland – An Indian couple, Sneha and Veeru, who live in Germany, were thrilled to find a piece of India in Switzerland that’s “more Indian than India itself.” During their visit, they stumbled upon an Indian restaurant where waitresses wore traditional salwar kameez and jewellery, adding an authentic touch to the dining experience.
On their Instagram account, ‘soulmates_xpress’, Sneha and Veeru shared a video capturing their unique experience. The waitresses, dressed in vibrant red salwar suits and traditional jewelry, served customers with a touch of Indian elegance.
Their post’s caption read, “When Indian restaurants and waitresses in Switzerland are more Indian than in India.” The couple expressed their delight, saying, “Stepping into Indian restaurants in most of Europe is like a cultural time machine – rich traditions and vibrant decor that sometimes out- More Indian than India.”
