Spanish state prosecutors have leveled accusations against Carlo Ancelotti, alleging that he engaged in tax fraud during his initial tenure at Real Madrid approximately a decade ago. According to prosecutors, Ancelotti purportedly utilized shell companies to conceal portions of his earnings during this period.

In a statement released on Wednesday, prosecutors outlined their claims, asserting that Ancelotti is being charged with two counts of tax fraud, offenses that carry potential sentences totaling four years and nine months of imprisonment. The allegations specify that the Italian coach is accused of defrauding 1 million euros in the years 2014 and 2015 by allegedly failing to report income derived from image rights, only declaring his earnings from Real Madrid.
