Kerala’s Entertainment Revolution: Dive into ‘CSpace,’ India’s First Govt-Backed OTT Wonderland

India’s maiden government-operated over-the-top (OTT) platform, ‘CSpace,’ was officially inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.

Operated under the auspices of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC), ‘CSpace’ is set to showcase a diverse array of content. From award-winning films to compelling short films and documentaries, the platform aims to spotlight artistic and culturally significant works that may not have enjoyed extensive theatrical releases. Notably, films featured at major international film festivals will also have a chance to be showcased on CSpace.

A group of 60 expert curators selected by the KSFDC will review the content submitted to ‘CSpace.’ Three members from this panel will assess each piece to determine its artistic merit for showcasing on the platform. In the initial phase, 42 films, comprising 35 feature films, six documentaries, and one short film, have been approved for CSpace and are ready for public streaming. You can download CSpace on both Android and iOS devices.
