Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh: A significant fire erupted earlier today in an apartment located within the 16th Avenue Society of Gaur City in Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh. The blaze originated on the second floor of the residential complex, causing panic among residents who swiftly evacuated the premises. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

Firefighters from nearby areas rushed to the scene to assist in extinguishing the flames. It took approximately two hours of continuous efforts before the fire was successfully brought under control by 11 am. The quick response from the fire brigade prevented further escalation of the situation.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short-circuit. However, authorities are conducting a thorough inquiry to ascertain the exact cause of the incident. The owner of the affected flat, Rahul Pandit, was not present at the time of the fire as he was away on a trip to Jammu and Kashmir.

Tragically, Pandit’s flat suffered extensive damage, while some belongings in the apartment above were also affected. Despite the building’s fire-fighting system being activated promptly, additional fire tenders were required due to the rapid spread of the flames.

Authorities are now focusing on ensuring the safety of residents in the vicinity while investigations continue into the incident. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
