BREAKING: “Supreme Court Issues Stay on LS Privilege Proceedings Against WB Chief Secretary and DGP in Sandesh Khali Case”

The Supreme Court has stopped the Lok Sabha privileges committee from taking action against top officials of West Bengal, including the chief secretary and director general of police. These officials were accused of wrongdoing in the case where Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sukanta Majumdar got seriously hurt during a protest about the Sandeshkhali sexual assault incident last week.
